We landed this morning & the team is getting a little settled in but not too much, since our flight for Gondar leaves at 6 tomorrow morning. ;) The flights went smoothly & no one lost their luggage & we didn’t have any problems clearing customs.
Everything is going pretty well so far - please pray that our photographer catches up w us shortly. She’s having flight delays due to weather.
In a few hours, we get to meet up with the Global Expeditions team & we’re totally pumped about that!! All total we’ll have around 75 people in our teams - God can do lots of things with that many people, working in synch!
The tech situation is a bit interesting. I’m presently in an internet “stall” & there are goats & probably some cows running around outside this hut. Suffice it to say that dial up is probably considered really speedy here. That’s all I’m going to say on that.
As for Gondar, looks like its all coming together well. We got the permit for the theater which is really good. Also, Dr. Ken will be overseeing the mobile medical clinic & the deworming campaign - so that’s all lined up.
I’ll sign off for now & pray that I find some donkeys, chickens & an internet hut in Gondar. You may be interested in pics - me too. Maybe next time, but don’t get too set on it. Please keep praying for us!
